Vacation

I enjoyed having last week off from work. It was  a much needed break. I also coach basketball and the season ended that same week. I am glad I had that time to relax and sleep. I went to sleep late and I stayed in bed for as long as I could. I ran a few errands but that is all. I enjoyed my cereal in the morning and I got to catch up on my movies. I saw the movies, Contraband, This Means War, Safe House, and The Vow. That last one was my wife's choice. They were all good movies. I also saw the Broadway show Batman. I was amazed at the high flying stunts that were performed. I have never seen that type of action in a Broadway show. They did an excellent job. I definitely gave them a standing ovation.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love is very difficult to understand. It is hard to put the exact words to describe it. You only hope that the words that you do choose help to relay the message you want.  I have learned to grow into the understanding of what love is.  I do not believe in love at first sight but I understand how someone can have strong enough feelings to think so. This passage does a good job at describing what love is in its short length. Patience, kindness, are very valuable in the description of the word love.  The last part of the passage sums it up well. Protects, trust, hopes and preserves. If you develop a deep understanding of this passage you will know exactly when to use the word LOVE.
