Love is very difficult to understand. It is hard to put the exact words to describe it. You only hope that the words that you do choose help to relay the message you want. I have learned to grow into the understanding of what love is. I do not believe in love at first sight but I understand how someone can have strong enough feelings to think so. This passage does a good job at describing what love is in its short length. Patience, kindness, are very valuable in the description of the word love. The last part of the passage sums it up well. Protects, trust, hopes and preserves. If you develop a deep understanding of this passage you will know exactly when to use the word LOVE.

Good entry! I like the categorization activity. You could also use the nouns from the paragraph.
ReplyDeleteI really like the categorization activity for the different types of nouns. I think it provides a nice visual separation but allows them to realize that all the words are nouns.
